The Water You Don’t Notice is Costing You hello@tigertek.io

A meter reading tells you how much water has passed through. The timing of that consumption can tell a more useful story.

Water flowing through an empty building overnight deserves investigation. So does a steady increase in usage when activity has stayed much the same. Neither proves there is a leak, but both give an operator a reason to act.

The opportunity is to shorten the distance between a developing problem and someone noticing it.

Start with the equipment already in place

A monitoring project does not always require new meters throughout a site. Compatible outputs on existing equipment can provide a starting point for collecting readings more regularly.

The right installation begins with practical questions: what can the meter measure, how can its output be captured, and how will that information reach the responsible team?

Communication matters as much as measurement

A useful reading needs a reliable route to its destination. Buildings, terrain and scattered assets can make that difficult.

Tigertek’s mesh approach addresses this through a network of nodes that can relay sensor information. Network planning considers the actual site, including obstacles, power requirements and the frequency of readings.

Keep useful information under your control

Tigertek’s direction combines encrypted communications, local intelligence and optional internet connectivity. The aim is to give organisations useful operational information while allowing connectivity to suit their circumstances.

Better visibility can support earlier investigation, more focused maintenance and clearer evidence of what changed after a repair.

Know what’s happening. Act with better information.
